Between December 2025 to May 2026; in order to make digital safety relatable to younger demographics, between we authored a playful, age-appropriate children’s storybook series featuring the chronicles of an imaginative character - Norton the Mouse as he took readers through relatable experiences and how they could safeguard themselves against digital dangers like fake emails and viruses, scams targeted towards children and privacy. The books were illustrated and distributed with Spread A Smile’s help among children aged 6-12
Aarav gets his first computer on his 10th birthday and excitedly clicks a shiny pop-up that appears. Suddenly, Norton the Mouse, a digital safeguard appears! He warns Aarav about dangerous links and teaches him how to spot fake emails, check website names, and avoid suspicious downloads. Now Aarav browses smartly; all with Norton’s help.
Zoya’s grandmother just learned how to use a smartphone. One day, she gets a message saying she’s won a big prize. Before she taps the link, Zoya remembers something Norton the Mouse said. She opens the “Norton Alert” app on their phone, and Norton appears with a warning: It's a scam! Together, they report the message and delete it.
Kabir struggles to remember his passwords, so he uses the same simple one for everything. One day, Norton visits Kabir to explain why strong passwords matter and teaches him to create fun yet secure passwords using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Kabir realizes online safety can be smart and easy!
